Training Opportunity - Design Training for Safe, Walkable and Accessible Communities

In-person and online workshops sponsored by WSDOT Active Transportation Division

The WSDOT Active Transportation Division is sponsoring training opportunities on Design Training for Safe, Walkable and Accessible Communities. These training opportunities are offered as both in-person and online workshops. The training will cover topics concerning designing for safe, walkable and accessible communities. The presenter for the training is Ian Lockwood, Livable Transportation Engineer with Toole Design Group, who will cover walkability topics such as traffic calming on major streets, multi-modal level of service and safe system approach design techniques. There are 4 opportunities to choose from:

Olympia (in-person) – Thurston County - Wednesday, June 21 (Times: 2:00-5pm)
