TIB Announces 2021 Call for Projects

Applications are due August 13th, 2021 for the $95 million call.

The Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) is pleased to announce its 2021 Call for Projects. Grant applications will be available on our grants page. Completed applications must be postmarked by Friday, August 13, 2021, and grant awards will be announced after the November 19, 2021 board meeting.

Target funding levels have been set by the board. These levels may be altered based on revenue forecasts and legislative outcomes. Funding levels for each program are:

Program Amount
Urban Arterial Program/Arterial Presrevation Program $68 Million
Urban Sidewalk Program $5 Million
Small City Arterial Program/Small City Preservation Program $19 Million
Small City Sidewalk Program $3 Million
Total $95 Million


Interested agencies are encouraged to attend a TIB funding workshop being online on June 1st and 9th, 2021. Workshops provide information about the various funding programs, program priorities, TIB goals, and the application process. If you're not able to attend an in-person workshop, contact your TIB engineer for any quesitons you have.
