2019 Call for Projects Announced

The Board approved a $103 million call for projects. Applications are due August 16th.

The Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) is pleased to announce its 2019 Call for Projects. Grant applications will be available on our grants page. Completed applications must be postmarked by Friday, August 16, 2019, and grant awards will be announced after the November 22, 2019 board meeting.

Target funding levels have been set by the board. These levels may be altered based on revenue forecasts and legislative outcomes. Funding levels for each program are:

Program Amount
Urban Arterial Program $70 Million
Arterial Preservation Program $8 Million
Urban Sidewalk Program $5 Million
Small City Arterial Program $12 Million
Small City Preservation Program $4 Million
Small City Sidewalk Program $3 Million
Total $103 Million


Interested agencies are encouraged to attend a TIB funding workshop being held throughout the state June 3-14, 2019. Workshops provide information about the various funding programs, the scoring criteria for each program and the application process. If you're not able to attend an in-person workshop, contact your TIB engineer for any quesitons you have.
