Project Description

The project reconstructs the roadway to provide two travel lanes and sidewalk on one side. A retaining wall will be built to allow for the wider section. The project also includes an illumination system and drainage improvements.

Existing Condition

Commercial Street is a very narrow, deteriorated facility that parallels SR 2 west of the central business district. No sidewalk, illumination or drainage facilities exist.

  • Improves connectivity for vehicles and pedestrians
