Existing ConditionsBefore the county can start scrub sealing, all roads need maintenance. Scrub sealing will only address cracks up to 2 inches wide, but several roads, particularly in the Fox Hollow area north of SR902, have cracks between 3 and 4 inches. Many roads also have sections with spalled pavement or severe rutting that need repair. |

Summary of Improvements
Description of Improvements
The proposed solution involves several steps to prepare the roads for scrub sealing. Cracks between 3 and 4 inches will be filled with a polymer crack seal. For damaged areas, the plan includes removing the existing pavement and base, then installing 3 inches of hot mix asphalt (HMA) over a 6-inch layer of crushed surfacing top course (CSTC). Additionally, to address rutting and depressed sections, a skim coat of 3/8-inch HMA mix will be applied to ensure a smooth surface for the Countys scrub s
