Existing Conditions1st Street North within the project limits consists of two traveled lanes with paved shoulders on each side. 1st Street North serves a large industrial area in the City that receives a large amount of heavy truck traffic. Roadway conditions exhibit transverse, longitudinal and significant alligator cracking; pavement rutting, and large areas of most of the road show the need for subgrade repair. |

Summary of Improvements
Description of Improvements
The travel lanes, which are significantly deteriorated, will be pulverized, excavated and reconstructed per geotechnical recommendations. The subgrade will then be compacted and a new wearing course paved and matched into the existing shoulders.
