Existing ConditionsThe immediate need for the community is to replace non-ADA compliant ramps and install crosswalks where none exist or are non-compliant. The priority non-compliant ADA ramps are on walking routes to schools or within the downtown corridors where walkability and connectivity is important. |

Summary of Improvements
- The proposed project identifies 26 curb ramps in 6 different intersections that are non-ADA compliant to be replaced and made ADA compliant. The selected locations are in the vicinity of five different schools, where safe pedestrian access is extremely important. The completion of this project would promote a safer city and more accessible routes.
Description of Improvements
The project will replace 26 non-compliant ADA ramps and will replace 13 non-compliant crosswalk markings and/or add crosswalk markings where none exist.
