The pavement condition on the 104-105th arterial through Beaux Arts has deteriorated significantly in recent years. Large areas of alligatored pavement have developed. These areas are showing signs of poor base condition including silt migrating up through the cracks and deflection in the road surface. Potholes have developed in a couple of areas and these have required repeated patching. The road is a King County Metro bus route and the bus loads have contributed to the deterioration.

Project Description
The alligatored sections of pavement will be removed and replaced with a heavier road section including a crushed surfacing base layer and two lifts of HMA pavement patch.
