Description of Improvements
Sidewalk will be installed to fill in the gaps on the south side of the road between Portage Avenue and Columbia Avenue. Sidewalk will also be installed between Mansion Street and Portage Avenue to provide connectivity to the library and the west end of the park. The City completed a Government Road Feasibility Study in 2018 to determine a larger scope of improvements for this important road through the City. This project is a preliminary step in connecting the pedestrian facilities within the City. The plan concepts showing the proposed improvements to Government Road are uploaded with this application.
