Existing ConditionsThis is a grind and inlay project outside of the typical funds for the SCPP. The roadway has aligator, longitudinal, and traverse cracking. This roadway is the second highest traveled road in Medical Lake (aside from SR 902, and a lot of those vehicles are pass-through vehicles). The roadway has 'No Vehicle Parking' lanes on each side of the traffic lanes (essentially act as bike lanes) and residents in the communtiy use these facilities daily. The community needs the road repaired to continue to use it. |

Summary of Improvements
- Major roadway in Medical Lake, used by many residents and non-residents. It is also the street used for the City's 3-on-3 basketball tournement and Founder's Day Festival. This street was a huge improvement when it was initially completed and it is now in need of a grind & inlay to return it to initial condition. Ramp and driveway upgrades will provide ADA Compliance. ADA upgrades include the upgrade of 42 ramps and it is anticipated to be completed with Federal funds administered by the SRTC.
Description of Improvements
Some areas of the roadway may need digout repairs accomplished; however, these are anticipated to be relatively minor as the roadway was properly constructed some 20-25 years ago with 8" base course, 4" top course and 4" of HMA. Upon repairing any soft/bad areas, the traffic lanes and bike lanes shall be milled (ground) 2" and an inlay of new Cl. 1/2" HMA (2" in depth) placed and compacted. Striping shall be painted upon completion.
