Project Description

City will install two RRFB's using local forces 1.25th Ave NE 200' south of 176th ST NE The RRFB crossing on 25th Ave NE approximately 200 feet south of 176th St NE serves as a crossing between multi-family housing and commercial amenities, and is approximately 1,000 feet from the next nearest pedestrian crossing facility that would result in significant out direction pedestrian travel. 2.27th Ave NE 166th PL NE (north leg) The installation of a RRFB crossing at 27th Ave NE and 166th Pl NE would improve the safety at this crossing due to the moderate traffic volumes on this minor arterial with a 25 MPH speed limit, and adjacent senior housing residents crossing 27th Ave NE to commercial amenities including Costco and Target.
