Madison Avenue is heavily trafficked by cyclists, pedestrians and vehicles. There are multiple schools, preschools, places of worship, businesses, a library, and much more. After school is let out mass amounts of students run across the road, conflicts between vehicles and non-motorized users are present. Not all crossings are ADA compliant, and there are not enough crosswalks along Madison Avenue.

Project Description
The following complete street solutions have been incorporated into the Madison Ave design- Lane narrowing for vehicular lanes, sections of dedicated vertically separated bike, sections of buffered bike lanes, portions of widened sidewalk, bus stops.
