Project Description
This project will install two Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, four crosswalk lights, traffic calming islands and bike lanes extending one block east and one block west of the intersection.
Existing Condition
Project Benefits
- NE 3rd Ave. is the primary route through downtown Camas for motorists traveling to and from State Route 14. It is also the primary connection between Camas and the City of Washougal. Average Daily Traffic at the intersection of NE 3rd Ave. and NE Birch St. is over 8,000 vehicles, many of which fail to stop for pedestrians that are waiting to cross NE 3rd Ave.
