Project Description

Construct a new bridge to replace the existing South Park Bridge.

Existing Condition

The existing bridge is in poor condition with a sufficiency rating of 4. Due to poor condition the bridge will be closed June 30, 2010.

Project Benefits

  • Provides access to South Park Neighborhood;
  • Maintains important frieght and good route;
  • Relieves congestion on SR-509
