Project Description

Sidewalks along both sides of Nyanza Road between the south and north ends of Gravelly Lake Drive will be installed. This includes a widened sidewalk along the west side of Nyanza for bikes and pedestrians. This will match improvements along the other portions of Gravelly Lake. The roadway will be resurfaced with a three-inch depth hot mix asphalt overlay following significant pavement repair. This will be an economic benefit to the project in lieu of pulverizing and reconstructing. The three-inch section will work well into the future with the base lift and pavement repair at the current stage.
