Project Description

The City proposes to provide a continuous bicycle and pedestrian route between Pacific Hwy S and Military Road S, meeting all ADA requirements. The project would include the construction of 3 mid-block pedestrian crosswalks with pedestrian refuge islands and Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, replacement of the traffic signal at Military Road S to comply with MUTCD and ADA requirements with the revised channelization, and traffic signal modifications at SR 99 to improve efficency and reduce delays for non-motorized users.
