Project Description

Overlay the existing roadway, with subgrade repair (digouts) where necessary. Recent completed work on Foster Avenue between 14th Ave and 17th Ave showed that the roadway lacks a gravel base and the HMA is less than 2 inches thick, so transition planning to connect to side streets would not provide a suitable base for paving. Instead of transition paving, subgrade repair consisting of 6-inches of crushed surfacing top course and 2-inches of HMA will be provided to connect to side streets.
