Existing ConditionsWest First Street sees heavy traffic due to serving both Interstate 90 access and the only grocery store in Upper Kittitas County. The intersection with Douglas Munro Boulevard connects Suncadia, the City of Roslyn, and community of Ronald via SR903, bringing heavy traffic to the 2-way stop control intersection. A 2020 traffic study showed Friday PM Peak was an LOS F with 90 seconds of delay, while the weekday PM peak was an LOS D with 28 seconds of delay. These delays are projected to increase as development continues in Upper Kittitas County. |
