Description of Improvements
This section of street was last slurry sealed in approximately 2004 and is in need of pavement preservation to seal the existing pavement. This project involves updating 22 ADA ramp to meet current standards, pavement repair and pre-level in areas showing distress, Adams County to provide and chip seal, and Contractor to provide a Slurry Seal over the chip seal for smoothness. The existing surfacing and subsurface have withstood the traffic loading and have proven to be sufficient still today. The City of Ritzville was able to secure TIB funding last year 2019 for this project Main Ave 2-E-845(007)-1 and the Cities Engineering firm has gotten to the point for establishing a estimate for the work planned but the funding was short by approximately $90,000. TIB staff and Director has suggested that the City withdrawl this project and submitt this project in 2020 under the SCAP Project application.
