There are currently no sidewalks on the south side of E 11th St between Nipsic Ave and Trenton Ave and on the west side of Wheaton Way at 2629 Wheaton Way. There is a need for this project as both of these locations are on the Pedestrian Access Routes to medical facilities and transit which are highly trafficked areas. This project will also improve pedestrian safety in these corridors. The proposed improvement on E 11th St is within the walking zone boundary of Mountain View Middle School.
