Completion of existing sidewalk gaps and ADA ramp compliance at various locations around town. Areas targeted for improvement in 2022 include Hillcrest Dr. and O Avenue with connecting numbered streets. The City is committed to $300,000 worth of improvements for this project as seen on the other work plans and would account for the remaining $100,000 utilizing local funds in this scenario.
H Avenue Multimodal ACFL Pedestrian; Bicycle Mar 2022 $200,000 $ 0
Construction of a multimodal pedestrian and bicycle path along H Ave. from 41st St. south to the trailhead of Anacortes Community Forest Lands (ACFL) Trail #208. The the path is expected to be 8 feet wide and approximately 1500' long. The project will also install a missing ADA ramp on the SE Corner of the 41st & H Intersection.
