Project Description
The City will be constructing the final gap in the sidewalk system along both sides of Stanley Street the year. As such, the need for pedestrians to cross the street will increase. The solution is to install rectangular rapid flashing beacons at Portage Avenue and Kentucky Avenue to enhance the visibility of the pedestrians. These improvements incorporates the complete streets concept by promoting healthy communities by installing these safety improvements.
