Project Description

This project is replacing Street Tree locations primarily located within the lowest equitible areas within the City of Sumner, as identified on the Pierce County Equity Index Map. Additionally, this program will replace ADA curb ramps that are non-compliant that are within the extents of these identified Homeowner and Street Tree damaged locations. There are also four locations in which sidewalk gaps will be filled, that have been identified by residents within the area. By replacing these sidewalk locations, ADA curb ramps, and connecting the sidewalks, this will aim to increase the City of Sumner's walkability and ADA accessibility in areas that have been overlooked in the past and preserve these existing City assets. The City has included representative photos of some of the locations to be addressed.
