Project Description

The project is along the east side of 116th Ave NE from NE 73rd St to approximately 200 feet north of NE 75th Pl, as well as the intersection of NE 80th St and 124th Ave NE. It will provide approximately 1,150 linear feet of sidewalk curb and gutter planter strips and updated storm water conveyance. A Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) and median island will be installed at the intersection of NE 80th St and 124th Ave NE to aid in pedestrian crossings. The newly constructed sidewalk will fill in sidewalk gaps along 116th Ave NE, and the RRFB and median island will provide a safe crossing at the busy intersection. This project maintains existing bicycle lanes.
