Project Description
This project completes a gap and roadway crossing in the City's pedestrian and bike system between Watkins Way and Candy Mountain and will provide ADA accessible crosswalk with pedestrian activated beacon (RRFB) enhancements. The project will install missing ADA ramps, sidewalks, roadway illumination, and solar rectangular rapid flashing beacon at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Watkins Way. This crossing will safely connect pedestrians from the Keene Road Regional pathway system to the Candy Mountain Trailhead as described in the City's current Park Plan.
