The NE 152nd Avenue corridor between NE 99th Street and Padden Parkway is bordered by the Evergreen School Districts York Elementary Schools, several high density subdivisions, a few undeveloped parcels, and the east end of a small plane airstrip. The corridor has two State Truck Classifications T-4 andT-3. There are four C-TRAN bus stops southbound on NE 152nd Avenue at NE 96th, 94th, 91st, and 86th Streets. The existing road section does not meet 2-lane urban collector standards. The existing pavement varies in width between 24 feet and 34 feet. Shoulders vary from zero to 10 feet. The NE 152nd Avenue/Padden Parkway intersection (southern project limit) is traffic signal controlled and has a level-of-service of C. The NE 152ndAvenue/NE 99th Street intersection (northern project limit) is all-way stop controlled and has a level-of-service of C. NE 152nd Avenue serves the York Elementary school. There are no center turn lanes at the schools entrance. There are inconsistently signed/marked crosswalks at NE 94th Street, NE 93rd Street, and at the south entrance to the schools parking lot. There are numerous sidewalk gaps on NE 152nd Avenue. Most of the corridor is serviced by sidewalk on one side of the roadway that partially complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The NE 152nd Avenue/ 99th Street intersection is all-way stop controlled without marked crosswalks. There are no designated bike lanes along the corridor.
