Project Description
This project will reconstruct the narrow rural roadway to current urban standards by providing sidewalks with ADA ramps for pedestrians, and bike lanes. The bike lanes will be channelized with a 2' buffer from adjacent traffic. Speed limit will be changed to 30 mph. This is a developing urbanized area of the city and water, and sewer expansion will be provided from other funds. The design and right-of-way phases are funded through a Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) and local funds. The TIB UAP grant will cover the construction phase funding needed to complete the project.
