Hatch Rd Phase 1 was funded by TIB in 2022 for 0.5 miles of improvements of this two-phase project. Hatch Rd Phase 2 (MP 1.10 - MP 1.63) will conclude construction to this road. Hatch Rd is the main route for a large residential area, elementary School, Bidwell Park and Aquatic Center, and links to US-395. The failing roadway has an ADT of 5,081, and an average PSC rating of 33. The west side of the road lacks sidewalks, bike lanes, and has noncompliant ADA curb ramps. Stormwater is not treated on the west side of the road.

Project Description
Reconstruct roadway, complete sidewalk improvements, install a 5ft bike lane, a 10ft swale to match Phase 1. Handy Rd and Ballard Rd crossings will be enchanced.
