Traffic analysis shows that the Lund-Harris, Lund-Hoover, and Lund-Chase intersections currently operate at level of service (LOS) F, F, and E respectively. Lund-Harris ranks 7th on the County’s Intersection Capacity List (2019) and is expected to move up to 5th place by 2025. Travel Demand Modeling indicates the Lund Corridor will operate at LOS E by 2036. Crash data from 2015 to 2019 identified 4 crashes within the Lund-Harris intersection and a total of 19 crashes within the Lund Corridor. WSDOT (TIB focused) crash data identified 2 crashes (2 injuries) related to the Lund-Harris intersection and another within the intersection. Both intersection related crashes where entering at angle crashes and one involved a school bus.
