Project Description

Grind 8 feet next to curb and gutter on both sides, and provide a 2-inch overlay. There will be limited areas of pavement repair (10%).

Existing Condition

1st Street is in the downtown core and provides direct access to businesses including a museum, hotel, and restaurants. The existing roadway has been patched multiple times for repairs and utility trench work. The asphalt is over 30 years old and has reached the end of its life.
