Project Description

Reconstruct and widen roadway. Install intersection left turn lanes, construct a shared use path along the east side of the roadway (Empire and the Spokane River bridge connecting to Millwood Trail).

Existing Condition

Argonne Road connects Spokane Valley and Millwood to north Spokane County areas, within the city the road is a primary means to access neighborhoods and business. ADT of 30,000+ with heavy peak hour congestion. Pavement, sidewalks and configuration are poor.
