Existing Conditions

This project will replace the existing single lane all-way stop controlled intersection at NE 179th Street and NE 29th Avenue with a dual lane (single-lane striped) roundabout adding ADA compliant pedestrian and bicycle facilities through the intersection.

Description of Improvements

This Project will construct a dual lane roundabout adding ADA compliant pedestrian and bicycle facilities through the intersection. The project will improve intersection visibility by installing roadway lighting, and markings including signing, targeted lighting, reflective candle sticks, and RRFBs at pedestrian cross walks.
