Existing Conditions

SR 14 (Steuben Street) has an Average Annual Daily Traffic (AADT) of approximately 10,000 vehicles per day. Visibility is low at this corner due to oncoming traffic and shoulder parking. There is also little to no lighting on the road during the night, making turning movements more difficult.

Summary of Improvements

This project will install illumination poles and RRFB indicators on the eastern side of the intersection. The project will also replace the sidewalks and curbs for the eastern corners of the intersection.

Description of Improvements

The project will add an illumination system and RRFBs on both sides of SR 14, at the eastern end of the intersection. The sidewalk ramps and curbing on the two eastern corners will also be replaced.
