Existing ConditionsThe Transportation System Plan identifies the entire corridor on the Primary Pedestrian Network and Enhanced Transit Network but most of the corridor has narrow sidewalks (less than six-feet wide) directly adjacent to traffic. There are large gaps between marked crossings and frequent driveways to businesses along the corridor. This portion of the corridor (39th Street to Discovery Trail) is also on the Citys Bike and Small Mobility Network but there are currently no easy or comfortable connection for people walking, biking or using small mobility devices along this segment. |
