Existing Conditions

Intermittent missing sidewalk and non-compliant ADA ramps along SW 13th Street and SW Parkland Avenue create barriers to multimodal transportation access to Recreation Park, Shaw Aquatic Center, Penny Playground, Lewis County Family Court, and Turning Point Alternative School.

Description of Improvements

Improve the right-of-way along SW 13th St and SW Parkland Ave to provide for uninterrupted sidewalk access routes, ADA compliant curb ramps. Replaced plastic stop bars and crosswalks delineations will improve safety for vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic.
