Existing Conditions

There is currently an approximate 300 foot gap in the sidewalk network on the East side of Porter Way from Juniper Street to 7th Avenue. This gap causes pedestrian to have to walk on a narrow shoulder (approximately 2 feet) that places them between northbound traffic and the existing guardrail.

Description of Improvements

Construct a new 5 foot wide concrete sidewalk that is separated from traffic by curb and gutter. This project fill a 300 foot gaps along Porter Way between 7th Ave and Junpier St.
