Existing ConditionsEngagement for the Transportation Master Plan in 2019 identified this gap in the pedestrian network as a priority to be filled. 83rd Ave S provides a first-mile, last-mile link between transit along East Valley Highway (84th Ave S) and the southern segment of the Kent Manufacturing Industrial Center. According to PSRC data, there are approximately 3,000 family-wage jobs within 1-mile west of East Valley Highway for which this would be the shortest access path to transit and retail. transit sites are located just east of the proposed project on East valley Highway (84th Ave S). |
