Existing ConditionsProviding a continuous pedestrian and bicycle facilities along SE May Creek Park Drive has been a priority for the City for years. The City has constructed multiple phases of pedestrian and bicycle facilities on almost 80 percent of the corridor. The final segment, between SE 84th Street and 129th Avenue SE, represents the final gap and completes a continuous loop around the City (116th Ave SE, Newcastle Way, Coal Creek Parkway SE, and finally SE May Creek Park Drive). SE May Creek Park Drive is a regional route for recreational bicycle users. It is common for over one hundred cyclists to travel along this route on a given weekend. |
