Existing Conditions

A critical sidewalk link is absent along Evergreen Way, from 42nd to Schmid Ball Fields, posing safety risks for pedestrians. Nearby, Washougal School District, Jemtegaard Middle School, and Schmid Ball Fields amplify the urgency. This sidewalk connects to 39th Street, a vital route for many residential areas. Presently, schoolchildren walk by the roadside, lacking protection from traffic. Addressing this gap is essential for community safety and convenience.
