Existing Conditions

1st Street is the primary connection between Highway 2 and the communities north of May Creek. As such, it experiences significant traffic and is experiencing deterioration of the existing road surface. Given that the alternative means of accessing these neighborhoods is unweildly and difficult, it is in the communities interest to maintain a safe primary access.
