Existing ConditionsUS 101 is the primary route between the City of Aberdeen and the City of Cosmopolis, but this section of the corridor has gaps in the existing sidewalk, has many non-ADA compliant curb ramps, and lacks bicycle facilities requiring bicyclists to travel in the lanes of US 101. |

Preliminary studies have demonstrated that a 3-lane section will accommodate anticipated growth and that a road diet is warranted. The existing 4-lane section will be converted to a 3-lane section to provide dedicated bike lanes.
