Existing ConditionsWest Main Street is a main pedestrian corridor connecting to the City of Elma Middle and High Schools. Many of the curb ramps along West Main Street, between 14th Street and 18th Street are not ADA compliant and are missing crosswalks. There is a need to improve safety along this section. In addition, Main Street is an asphalt concrete pavement roadway with a pavement condition rating (PCR) between 50 to 63 (poor) between 14th Street and 18th Street and there is a need to improve the pavement condition along this section. |
