Existing ConditionsThe intersection of 13th Street and Park Avenue is a three leg intersection that is only stop controlled on Park Avenue. It is located along the frontage of AIM Highschool and within a quarter mile of Emerson Elementary School, Hill Park, and multiple churches. The existing intersection has two non-compliant curb ramps on the north side of 13th Street and no curb ramps on the south side of the road. The City has received comments from students and other pedestrians that they do not feel safe crossing the street in this location. |
