This existing crosswalk experiences significant local use by the Roy Elementary School students and is one of two crossings for the western side of town to cross the railway. The existing ADA curb ramps do not meet standards and the drainage is failing, causing ponding at the crossing. The west side of the existing crossing has no ADA ramps or pathway to access Warren Street and exposes pedestrians to traffic along Higgins Greig Road.
