The Everson Elementary School currently has no sidewalks along SR 544 going to the northeast of the school on that side of the road, and only intermittent sidewalks on the east side of SR 544. There is not a consistent linear path for pedestrians and students to the safely travel to the elementary school from other parts of town.

Project Description
The project provides 8.0 wide sidewalks connecting downtown Everson with Everson Elementary School. Elementary Students and other pedestrians will be provided with safe and ADA compliant facilities.

Project Benefits
- The project will construct new 8.0 wide sidewalks with ADA compliant ramps that will provide critical pedestrian access to Everson Elementary School. The most direct route between the Elementary School and the Everson City Center is along SR 544, which currently has narrow shoulders with no connected sections of sidewalk.
