This is the final phase of the Ebey Waterfront Trail project, a 6-mile trail that traverses Ebey Slough and the Qwuloolt Estuary, connecting the Citys Downtown to regional parks and major transportation corridors. It provides both recreational use and non-motorized use for both pedestrian and bicycle mobility options. TIB funds were used to complete the most recent segment, 53rd Ave NE between 61st St NE and 64th St NE (SR 528), which will be completed in 2025. This next phase will connect to that segment and complete the remaining shared-use path (trail), including completing the full buildout of 61st St NE and 47th Ave NE.

Project Description
A one-mile trail that completes shared-use paths on 61st St NE and 47th Ave NE, including a sidewalk gap on 61st ST NE just east of 47th Ave NE.

Project Benefits
- The project will complete full street improvements on 61st St NE from 47th Ave NE to 53rd Ave NE by providing a shared-use path (trail) on the south side for pedestrian and bicyclists, complete a sidewalk gap on the north side of 61st St NE from just east of 47th Ave NE, and replace the existing sidewalk on 47th Ave NE from 61st St NE to 1st Street with a shared-use path (trail). This shared-use path (trail) provides over 6-miles of trail connection for recreation and non-motorized uses, connecting pedestrians and bicyclists to the Citys Downtown, regional parks and other transportation corridors.
