Currently there is sidewalk at Pear Drive and sidewalk to be constructed along Wisconsin avenue. These sections need a connection between them in order for the residents to be able to safely access and walk to town.

Project Description
Construction of a curb, gutter, sidewalk, storm drainage, and pedestrian bridge on North Tieton Road connecting housing to the north and the proposed sidewalk improvements on Wisconsin Avenue.
Existing Condition
Project Benefits
- New developments continue to be constructed along North Tieton Road to the north side of Wisconsin Avenue. These new residents need a safe and effective way to get to town and school from these new houses. A sidewalk constructed connecting Pear Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue is the solution to this problem. This sidewalk would incorporate the complete streets elements of supporting local neighborhoods and providing safe travel for both pedestrians and bicyclists. The sidewalk would also assist the farm worker housing that uses this road for travel to town every day and needs to have a safe option available while walking.
