N Kentucky Ave is one of the the communities only continuous north-south corridors. It is classified as an Urban Minor Arterial, but lacks adequate pedestrian/bike facilities, a formal stormwater system, and illumination. The corridor is identified in the Regional Bike Plan as a priority to receive bike lanes, and is a critical connection to various east-west corridors that house numerous schools (Kenroy Elementary, Sterling Intermediate, Eastmont Jr High, Eastmont High School) and parks (Kenroy and Eastmont). The route is also a critical component to Link Transits current and future transit network.

Project Description
This project will reconstruct N Kentucky Ave, and install bike lanes, buffered sidewalks, illumination, transit stops, and stormwater infrastructure. A reduced speed limit will also be evaluated.
