Project Description

The proposed solution is to completely reconstruct 13th Ave SW starting from just south of SR28 (F Street SW) to the southern City boundary. A new shared use pathway will serve as bike and pedestrian connections to Lauzier Park and future Canal Trail. Lighting will be installed on existing GCPUD utility poles for the roadway in conjunction with pedestrian scale lights to provide safe illumination for the new shared use path. The project will install curb and gutter with strategically placed cutouts that direct runoff into the adjacent bio-infiltration swales.
