Area has experienced significant growth. Associated traffic growth is expected to deteriorate Palouse/Freya intersection to LOS F. A joint effort with Spokane County to extend the Palouse Highway through the Palouse/Freya intersectionto Moran Prairie Park and Ride and Ben Burr Trail. The project also supports use of STAs Moran Station Park Ride by enhancing pedestrian and bicycle access within 1/2 mile of the station.

Project Description
The project will build peanut-roundabout at the intersection and extend sidewalk or pathway connections in all four directions and will extend the Palouse Highway shared-use pathway through Freya Street.
